Me: My last Big Bang is edited! It's with my beta, but that's posting on February 4th and then I am done with anything fic related with a deadline, so thank fuck. It means that my time does open up, so I am considering more RP, since I can handle more, but we will see. I'm usually chronically bad about January (SAD + birthday existentialism), but this year has been okay thanks to working from home meaning I get more sunlight, so yay.
Now:
Michael Guerin:
I realized belatedly that Michael was supposed to change his name last year, so I'm getting to that now. He's adding Truman, which is his mother's alias she used back in the 40's and while it's not her real name, it's a piece of her that he never had before, so he'll be going by Michael Guerin-Truman. Past that, his main plot is going to be fixing his mangled hand via surgery, as Magnus has recommended a doctor for him.
That's not going to be super easy for him, because of his severe mistrust. Past that down the line is going to be a plot where he and Alex look to adopt another kid, but he wants to really work through his addiction issues first.
He might set up some listening devices for the meteor plot to see if it's another ship, but past scientific curiosity, won't give much credence to it.
Patrick Brewer:
He's got the wedding coming up, he has a new doggo (named Henry!), and is generally settling in while helping David with wedding plans. Patrick is such a normal character that it's always easy to play him off stuff, though not always wildly dramatic or engaging, but I don't mind that. I need a little normal in there, and I do like the small circle he has.
For meteor, he'll likely be playing at calming mode with David, while shoving his own fears down.
Nicky Smith / Nicolo di Genova:
I love my gay immortal Nonno so much, and I love the connections he's made. He found out he lives beside Rowan, so he cooks for the other immortal in town (Rowan and Klaus are the only two who actually know his secret, but that will expand), and he's started volunteering at soup kitchens, children's library readings, the hospital, and more. Meanwhile, he's sourcing all the parts he needs for his sniper's rifle so he can also go back to vigilante justice to bring down evil people, so that will eventually start getting some attention when murders start happening.
He misses Joe (always), but is finding very good purpose in making friends and helping then, and I want him to keep meeting more people and unnerving them with the fact that his story definitely doesn't make sense. With the meteor, Nicky might casually bring it up to Rowan, more in the sense of 'so if this is real and we're the only two left, what do you want for dinner that night?'
Ben Hargreeves:
He's still SO NEW, but I love him already. Obviously, the first little while for Ben is going to be him making connections with his siblings again and figuring out who he is when he's alive. He's got a lot to work through because he's been a ghost for so long that he doesn't know who he is outside of Klaus, which means coping with that. In the back of his mind, he still thinks that it's purgatory, but he'll work through that.
Beyond sibling bonding, the main three for Ben are:
1. Get to know Obi-Wan better and work with him to help Klaus become a better person with meditation and maybe some good decisions
2. Flirt (badly) with girls now that Ben realizes that the cute girls can talk to him too
3. Eventually deal with the Horror that is his power, which I want to come out at the worst possible time
So lots to do with him, and I do want him to make non-sibling friends, so lots of work there. Nothing V-Day for him because impending death for him is like "...okay, so I just move on again?"
Future:
I should have known that sticking two characters from the same canon on TD would only result in both of them being loud, but on a long term basis, Roy vs Ted comes out with a strength towards Ted, since Roy would be upset about losing both Keeley and football and upset Roy is just grouchy, whereas Ted could throw himself into sports and connections and would still be crushed not having a way to talk to his son, but better coping mechanisms for it.
Sooooo, that's a legit thought I am having, given that I did make sure I had reqs.
